solution for a better visualisation of abnormal cells. A light will be shined inside
the tract to aid visualisation.
Your gynaecologist may suggest a biopsy in order to confirm the presence of the
cancerous cells. A biopsy will be taken from 2 places. One from outside the cervix
and one form the inside opening of the cervix. During a biopsy, you may feel a
small pinch. The total procedure will only last about 15 minutes. Post biopsy,
patients may experience some discomfort and sometime light bleeding.
